The Cerrito opened on Christmas Day in 1937 and featured uniformed ushers and usherettes, along with free dinnerware given to “ladies” on Wednesday nights. Today run by Rialto Cinemas, the Cerrito invites patrons see the world in ways only the movies can show us. This beautiful theatre is more than a community asset it is a vital destination, a meeting place, and a place to nourish the mind, body and soul.
