Cleveland Cinematheque

Hailed by The New York Times as “one of the country’s best repertory movie theaters,” the Cleveland Cinematheque shows an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary international films on most Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Founded in 1985, the Cinematheque now shows its movies in the Peter B. Lewis Theater of the Cleveland Institute of Art, which has dual 35mm projection, dual 16mm projection, 4K digital cinema, and 7.1 digital sound. The Cinematheque presents approximately 250 different feature films (in 450 separate screenings) every year.
